CO 06 Coffman
Mike Coffman (R) represents Colorado’s 6th congressional district where over 120,000 individuals, including 39,000 children, receive their health care coverage through the state exchange for Obamacare (ACA) and Medicaid expansion. Yet he voted 19 out of 19 times for ACA repeal to take away their health care. Maybe he forgot 81,000 of them are eligible voters. Let us remind him by spelling it out for him – and painting him a picture.
CO-06 encompasses much of the eastern part of the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Area, including all of Aurora, as well as portions of the southern (Centennial and Littleton) and northern metro area (Brighton and Henderson).
In the Presidential race, Hillary Clinton won this district by 8.9%. In the House race, Coffman beat his opponent by 31,000 votes, helped in large part by some 29,000 Hillary voters crossing over.
A switch of 15,500 votes (half of 31,000) will defeat Coffman in 2018. We can mobilize 110,000 Health Votes to defeat him.
- 29,000 crossover Hillary votes
- 35,000 ACA enrolled votes
- 46,000 Medicaid Expansion votes
- Total Health Vote: 110,000
With 110,000 Health Votes versus the 15,500 needed to defeat him, Coffman’s Vulnerability Ratio is 7.1 (extremely vulnerable).
ACT NOW, BEFORE HE VOTES AGAIN. Call, Fax, Write or E-mail Rep. Coffman NOW.

Cut-and-paste suggested letter/email/Fax (personalizing helps):
Dear Honorable Representative Coffman:
Congratulations on your recent election victory by a margin of 31,000 votes.
I am writing to you out of concern about your position on the Affordable Care Act.
If you vote to repeal the ACA, you will be jeopardizing the health and finances of over 120,000 of your constituents, including 39,000 children.
If compassion for their lives doesn’t sway you, let me remind you that 81,000 of these individuals are eligible voters. Combined with the 29,000 Hillary voters who crossed over to vote for you – and who strongly support Obamacare – 110,000 Health Votes may be mobilized against you, come 2018.
We hope you will do the right thing by your constituents and be a voice for their ongoing health and financial well-being by voting against ACA repeal.
Sincerely,
(Your name here)
